Everyone loves the phrase baby steps because it is not threatening and sounds doable. Also - most people like babies. 👶 Here are baby steps in the direction of organization:
Pick One Area to Start With
Pick one space or system that feels most cluttered and commit to tidying it up. Spend just 10-15 minutes organizing that area each day until it’s in better shape. By doing so consistently, you'll gradually notice a cleaner, more organized environment.
Set Clear, Simple Goals
A lot of disorganization happens because goals are vague or overwhelming. If you want to get organized, start by setting simple, clear goals that you can achieve. For example, instead of saying, “I’ll organize my whole lab,” say, “I’ll organize my cart drawer today.”
Make It a Daily Practice
If conquering a little bit of your space feels good, why not make it a daily practice? How? Calendar it! Block 15 minutes a day for Improvement Time and watch the magic of compound improving unfold before your eyes.
